Working for the division of a larger group in South Wales, this manufacturing business has an annual group turnover of 2.7 bn and almost 20,000 employees on more than 60 sites across the UK. This role reports into the site Financial Director and will work closely with the Commercial Director. The purpose of the role is to ensure that the correct financial decisions are made within the operations, commercial and NPD functions. Managing and developing a team of 2 staff this role will support the site FD in the development of the business information and controls that identify and drive business performance improvement efficiencies. Attendance at weekly variance meetings to highlight to operations management, areas for improvement and communicating margins from concept to launch will be key. You will be a qualified accountant with post qualification experience, have a manufacturing background, possess strong business and commercial awareness, have a proven track record of working within a fast moving environment and to be able to influence key decision makers.
