Hewitson Walker has been assigned by a Multinational Organisation to assist with its search for a Management Accountant.
Reporting into the Financial Controller for EMEA, the Management Accountant`s responsibilities will include:
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Review of subsidiary accounts, variance analysis, preparation of forecasts, annual budget and assist with year end statutory accounts
- Responsible for certain foreign and UK subsidiaries/divisions as the key contact point for accounting issues and will review their monthly management accounts, cash flow, reconciliations, intercompany, budget and year end accounts.
- Reporting the monthly results to various heads of department within a set geographical area
- Forecasting and variance analysis
It is essential that you are a Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with post qualified experience gained in a busy management/financial accounts department or similar, experience in Excel (advanced level), and suitable accounting systems, preferably SAP desired; experienced in foreign currency, supervisory skills, review of internal controls, exposure to group accounts/consolidation process, report writing and working with and creating complex spread sheets.
