My client, one of the most prestigious employers in West Birmingham, requires a Financial Controller. With a salary of between £36 - £45k + bonus & benefits, this represents a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) to join a growing organisation.
A high level of commercial awareness is essential and you will be responsible for:
- P&L reporting
- Driving accurate P&L control
- Effective financial control
- Balance sheet and cash-flow forecasting
- Producing detailed monthly performance data for operations
- Producing detailed KPI analysis
- Providing both retrospective and planning insights on the analysis produced
- Prioritising the activities of the team
- Liaising with the head of planning to ensure the requires service levels are met
- Representing the operational team at monthly directors meetings
In order to apply for this position it is essential that you:
- Are a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Possess strong leadership skills
- Have strong financial control skills
- Possess an ability to develop relationships at a senior level
