Hewitson Walker has been assigned by a FTSE 100 Service Provider to assist with its search for a Finance & Commercial Manager.
Reporting to the Financial Controller with a dotted line to an Operations Director, you will be responsible for the following:
- Business planning process for contracts
- Detailed financial analysis of the performance
- Bespoke analysis to support decision making
- Actively involved with identifying trends and mitigating risk
- Financial Lead in the bid process for small bids
- Developing operational/financial processes
- Building effective relationships with the SSC
- Applying the Group`s accounting policies and principles
- Financial reporting for the area
The successful candidate will ideally have strong commercial and analytical skills coupled with above average IT skills.
You will be a Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with strong management accounting experience. You must be able to work effectively as both part of a team and on your own initiative, be flexible and to question current practices with the target of improving the department to achieve best practices. You will be an excellent communicator with good commercial awareness and the ability to work effectively at a senior level.
