This prestigious company has grown organically over the years to be one of the largest and highly respected Independent Financial Advisor’s in Leicestershire, which has over £185Million under management.
With growth in mind, there is a specific need for a dynamic, “hands on”, Financial Services Professional to join this organisation and assist the Business Partners in making decisions on strategic issues and driving forward the growth of the business.
Duties Include:
1) Company Management:
a) Support & promote the operational & managerial needs of this IFA business
b) Oversee & monitor all areas of the business to ensure growth & profitability
c) Distribute, monitor & management of company workloads
d) Be first point of contact for all management queries
2) Human Resources Role:
a) Oversee all HR aspects, including recruitment process, induction training & appraisals
b) Employment Law
c) Internally improve & promote culture & vision for the company
3) Compliance:
a) Responsible for mortgage compliance issues & ensure T&C scheme meet regulators requirements
b) Assist Compliance Officer with reviews & PI risk management
c) Training for all staff
4) Project Management:
a) Review Branding & Marketing, including website, brochures, advertising, seminars, etc.
b) Review Sales processes
c) Review Administration / Sales Support processes
d) Review WRAP system
e) Review IT system
f) Review potential for acquisition / merger
Person Details:
- Evidence of good academic and intellectual background
- Experience within a financial advisory service
- Full AFPC or Diploma in Financial Planning
- Technically strong Financial Services knowledge
- Good communication skills with confident telephone and face to face manner
- Computer literacy, to include Microsoft applications and e-mail
- Good organisational & IT skills
- Management experience
- Strong man-mangement, coaching & developing skills
- Good administration & compliance experience
- Be able to implement & deliver projects /plans
- Customer focused
- Good interpersonal skills at all levels
- Adaptable, flexible, mature in approach & strength of personality
- Able to work individually and in a team
- Self-driven, highly motivated, business/commercially minded individual who can present a progressive career track
