Our client is a professional services company based in Bristol with operations all over the globe. The organisation continues to buck the economic trend by posting year on year growth of market share, turnover and profit and is now looking to appoint a driven and motivated individual into the role of Reporting Accountant. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will carry out monthly financial accounting and external reporting for the UK entities, including completion of all balance sheet reconciliations, ensure external statutory reporting requirements are met, ensure appropriate finance policies/procedures and internal controls are in place and identify, help Commercial Managers manage their business, bottom line and provide financial analysis to aid decision making process and implement opportunities for bottom line improvement. Newly or recently qualified, the successful candidate will have a strong personality with good relationship building and influencing skills. You need to have excellent attention to detail and a desire to meet key deadlines. You need to have a flexible approach and be prepared to flex your responsibilities to meet the needs of the team and the business.
