A London Local Authority is currently recruiting for an Accountant within their Planning, Environment and Community Services Directorate.
Main Responsibilities:
• To provide financial support for the implementation of the council's business improvement delivery programme (BID).
• Project based analytical work including business process re-engineering and business analyst activities.
• Providing direct support to the director of planning, environment and community services directorate.
Candidate Profile:
• Qualified with one of the CCAB accountancy bodies
• Analytical skills
• IT skills– good PC skills
• Experience of financial management in local government
• Flexible, able to prioritise effectively and manage several projects at once.
