Leading Financial Services business based in the City of London are currently looking to recruit a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. Based in there city offices, this is an exciting role for an experienced Financial Accountant to gain exposure to a large group company and consolidate financial reporting experience across various business units.
Reporting to the Group Financial Accountant the role will include, but by no means be limited to:
- Preparation of statutory accounts for group companies and pension schemes
- Preparation of monthly financial accounts with commentary
- Preparation of financial statements in line with IFRS
- Pension scheme accounts returns
- Assisting the Financial Controller with year end audit
- Group consolidations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with projects where necessary
To be suitable for this role ideally you will be an ACCA, ACA or equivalently qualified accountant within a multi million pound business, have extensive financial accounting experience and have used IFRS in a previous role.
