A Hat Trick At The Sunday Times Best 100 Small Companies To Work For 2009
For the third year running, Hewitson Walker has successfully achieved a place in the Sunday Times Best Small Companies to Work For.
With no fewer than 565 companies entering this year and over 34,000 employees completing the surveys, this has made the Sunday Times Best Small Companies Awards the most comprehensive study of workplace opinion and engagement of its kind.
The Hewitson Walker employees say that their manager shows appreciation for a good job done (an 84% positive score), and cares about them (85%) and their job satisfaction (86%). Deadlines are realistic too (81%). Hewitson Walker gets a top 50 score for the Fair Deal it offers its workforce (70%).
Mark Channon, Regional Manager said “This is an outstanding achievement that means so much more than most awards, due to the fact that the recognition is purely a result of surveys submitted by our own staff. In the current challenging market, it is important to us as a business that we continue to create an environment that our staff can thrive within. We understand that as a business, our most valued commodity is our staff and to see that they believe and share our values and goals through this accolade gives a huge sense of achievement that everyone should be proud of.”
This is an exceptional achievement for Hewitson Walker who also received PQ Magazine Consultant of the Year 2009 award in the same week.
